Monica is originally from Bardstown, KY.  She attended the University of Louisville where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Bachelors of Arts in Biology in 2003, and a Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 2006.  Monica was a certified pediatric nurse at Kosair Children’s Hospital for seven years before returning to the University of Louisville to complete a Masters of Science in Nursing.  Monica became a certified Family Nurse Practitioner in 2013.  She practiced family medicine in Lebanon, KY for 5 years before joining Physicians to Children & Adolescents in 2018.  Monica and her husband, Linwood, reside in Bardstown with their three children, Lawson, Boone, and Sloane
