Dr. Tyler graduated from Bullitt Central High School in Shepherdsville, KY. He obtained his Bachelors of Science in Chemistry and Biology at Kentucky Wesleyan College. He attended Medical School at the University of Louisville, and his residency at Kosair Children’s Hospital through the University of Louisville.

Dr. Tyler joined Physicians to Children and Adolescents in 1987. Dr. Tyler and his wife have two charming sons, Wesley and Daniel, one grandson, and one grandaughter.
