Thomas Wagoner, MD
Dr. Wagoner was born and raised in Bardstown.  He enlisted in the Kentucky Air National Guard upon graduating high school in 2006.  In his six years with the KYANG he was deployed once in support of the 2008 ice storms that hit Kentucky and again in 2010 to the Dominican Republic in support of Haiti following the earthquakes in 2010.

In 2012 Dr. Wagoner received a bachelor of science in biology from the University of Louisville and was awarded the Health Professions Scholarship from the United States Air Force to attend medical school at the University of Kentucky.  Dr. Wagoner then moved to Jackon MS, to complete his residency in pediatrics at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and became a board certified pediatrician.

After residency, Dr. Wagoner stationed in Minot ND and Charleston SC and served as the Medical Director of Pediatrics on base to dependents of active duty Air Force, Army, Navy, and Marine service members.  During 4 years of active duty service Dr. Wagoner received multiple awards including the Air and Space Achievement Medal as well as the Air and Space Meritorious Service Medal.

Dr. Wagoner and his wife Kelly, along with their two sons, James and Gray moved back to Kentucky in the summer of 2023.  As their son Gray has Down Syndrome, the Wagoners are active with the Down Syndrome of Louisville community and continuously work to raise awareness and promote inclusivity of people with the diagnosis.

When he is not working at the office, Dr. Wagoner enjoys spending time with his family, reading, wood working, and brewing beer.
